Lynn Lewis, Ph. D.

A microbiologist who received her Ph. D.from Virginia Tech, Lynn Lewis is Professor of Biology. Her doctoral work was a study of thesurface proteins of strains of Bacillus. Prior to are arrival at MWC in 1989, Dr. Lewis served as the poultry virologist for Virginia. Her current research interests include studies of bacterial physiology and viral pathogenicity. Lynn teaches Microbiology (Biol 371), Virology (Biol 432), and Biological Concepts (Biol 121 & 122).
