Biology students help organize Relay for Life

Relay for Life is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. This year the University of Mary Washington’s Relay for Life event will be held on April 21st from 3 PM to 6 AM the next morning. You can join us as a participant or as a survivor, and it is not required that you stay the entire night! Registration is open to the community and can be completed online at www.relayforlife.org/universitymarywashington. The registration fee is $10 and this includes a t-shirt. Registration is free for survivors and their caregivers!

The continued emergence of new diseases from wild animals, the effects of human activities on endangered species, and the impact of climate change on biodiversity are just a few of the topics to be examined in a new and novel Master of Science in Conservation Medicine degree program at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.
